Nihari is a very special delicious and traditional Pakistani recipe.
Ingredients
Beef/Mutton Shank ½ kg
Cooking Oil 1 Cup
Mixed Spices 1 Table Spoon
Ginger 1 Table Spoon
Garlic 1 Table Spoon
Onion 1 Medium Size
Black Cardamom 8 Nos.
Aniseeds 3 Tea Spoon
Salt 1 Table Spoon
Dry Ginger 4 Table Spoon
Red Chile 1 Table Spoon
Coriander for Garnish
Flour 4 Table Spoon
Green Chile 8 Nos.
Turmeric 1 Tea Spoon
How to Prepare
First boil the beef, then put the cutting onion, garlic, ginger and red chile in cooking oil and fry. Then put salt, turmeric and beef and fry. When the beef is tasted, add water, and put Ginger powder, black cardamom, and aniseeds in a cloth and tie the cloth and put in the cooking pot, give 40 minutes to cook on light fire. Add chopped ginger, green chile and mixed spices and give 5 minutes to cook. Fry the flour on pan and mix in a cup of water and add with Nihari. Bring down when it became thick. Apply chopped coriander for garnish, delicious Nihari is ready to serve.
